Footsteps In The Snow

Footsteps In The Snow
Waiting, longing, watching the snow coming down.
Hoping it will be winter, this second time around.
The small flakes are being driven by the wind, and glueing to my window.
The air is full of silence and anticipation.

December is coming closer, for another year, and I hope it's not the last.
Not the final one.
Winter is slowly but surely returning, to this little town, bringing happiness to kids as well as grownups.
I am standing by the doorstep, outside my house, glancing slyly up towards the sky.

She's got that something, that thing that really blurs your mind.
