Just You And Me

Time to publish the second track I've done with another person.
Hope there will be more projects like this, even though it pulled out on time a bit
it was still great and lots of fun :-)

Just You And Me

Verse 1
I was just an ordinary girl,
living my life, in a small town
when I met you for the first time

Just like every other guy,
you stood there, and smiled
when I saw you for the first time

But there was something special about you
that made me stop, and turn around
just to look at you one more time
And you made me feel so warm inside
like no one else, had ever done before
and I was in love for the very first time

And I was never afraid, never afraid
that you'd leave me here all alone

'cause we were happy, oh so happy
it was just you and me in this world

Verse 2
I remember the day I first saw you,
I was waiting, for the morning bus.
when you walked by, you looked so fine.

I tried to look away, but I couldn't,
you were just too beautiful,
and I couldn't help, I had to smile.

Then I saw you turn around, and look back
But just as I was ready to say hello,
the bus called and I had to go.

As the bus passed you by, I shed a tear.
soon followed by one more,
cause I thought I'd never see you again.

In my dreams that night, you and I were together,
dancing on the clouds high above.
and we were happy, oh so happy
it was just you and me in this world.

Verse 3
Then we finally got together
and we seemed to have it all.
Though one day it all would change.

You were on your way home,
and was just about to cross the road,
when a car came running and hit you.

Then the ambulance came, to take you away,
but it was already much too late.
You were dead when they arrived to the hospital.

I couldn't believe it when they called me,
I had lost the one I loved so much.
It seemed like my whole world had fallen apart.

A few months later, I had a baby,
and I was as happy as a girl could be.
And we were happy, oh so happy,
And it was all because of you.

Yes it was all because of you.
