another bunch of lyrics

Time for the release of another bunch of lyrics then.
This time it's time to honour one of the,
probably more underrated artist in the bunch.
A girl, who many have heard in a duet,
but I don't know if her other tracks/albums
may have passed us by.
I must say that some tracks have passed me by as well,
except for the oh-so-catchy song, with the oh-so-long title.
"There's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis"

Or even thought about the fact that she was active
all the way from 19 years of age (1979),
to her tragic, and way too early death in 2000.
The duet in question goes under the name of Fairytale of New York.
The singer herself went, and goes, under the name of Kirsty MacColl.

Onto the project itself then.
I guess, if I was to describe this one.
it'd be "a spontanius tribute to a really great
singer, that simply came out too good to ignore."
It actually wasn't meant to be anything,
just about a few tracks.
It somehow grew though.

In the end, after the usual picking, plucking
and sorting out some results of me being overproductive,
it first ended up with 10 tracks of my own, one for each year.
Also later decided to include 4 songs of Kirsty's,
as well as an acoustic re-release of my own.

So, I guess release date of the lyrics
is scheduled to be on saturday.
tune in between 11-11.15 CET.
After 11.15 all lyrics should be up.

Thanks for now.
/yours truly
